MINI 12 METER
UNDER SAIL

Illusion 12 - MK.2
In 1981, Illusion 12 one-man, the original miniature twelve (12) meter
was first introduced to the public during the Admiral's Cup in Cowes,
England. It immediately became an international success, with active
one design fleets competing throughout the world. Illusion Yachts
U S A announced another "first" in the Illusion 12 - MK2 in 1983
a heavy 1000 lb+ displacement yacht designed to be sailed competitively
by a crew of two, keeping the same twelve-meter image. The 12-MK2
was not well recieved and few were made. The above 12-MK2 was
converted to a one-man , referbished and has been sailed non-
competitively over the last few years.
